While you are working in Canada, you will be considered to be a member of the Boilermakers union. That means you will work under our Collective Agreement with fair contractors, and will enjoy the same on-the-job rights and protections as our Canadian members. You will be paid the same wage as a Canadian Boilermaker and will receive benefits of the same value.

All wages and benefits are paid in Canadian dollars. You must set up a Canadian bank account to receive your wages, which will be automatically deposited. We can help you set up your Canadian bank account.

The charts below contain the hourly rates of pay in Canadian dollars for a journeyperson construction Boilermaker in each province, based on contracts with the Boilermaker Contractors' Association of Canada.
